Rotary Welcomes Governor Kay Ivey for First Meeting of Club Year

The Rotary Club of Birmingham welcomed Governor Kay Ivey for the first meeting of the Rotary year on Wednesday, July 14, 2021. Governor Ivey highlighted Alabama's achievements as it recovers from the pandemic, including low unemployment, job creation, industry and business development, infrastructure modernization, advancements in education, and broadband internet expansion. 

"Rest assured, Alabama will continue on this upward trajectory," Ivey said. "I am proud to know I can always rely on this Club and this organization with your partnership to ensure that our great state continues to reach new heights."
