The Rotaract club of birmingham

The Rotaract Club of Birmingham was founded with the support and sponsorship of the Rotary Club of Birmingham. Shortly after graduating from college, Alabama natives John Peinhardt and Mike Mahon attended a RCB meeting and were inspired to establish an organization in Birmingham founded on the same principles as Rotary but tailored to the needs and interests of young professionals. Rotary International officially chartered the Rotaract Club of Birmingham on March 9, 2004. Since its founding, the club has grown to become one of the largest, strongest and most effective Rotaract Clubs in the world.
