The Rotary Club of Birmingham welcomed Auburn University Head Football Coach Bryan Harsin on Wednesday, July 21, with special guest Andy Burcham moderating a wide-ranging discussion. Coach Harsin shared his experience choosing coaching over racing, his family's move from Idaho to Alabama, his excitement for the tradition and dedication of Auburn fans, building a world-class coaching staff and preparing young players for not only a winning season, but for a lifetime of achievement and potential.

"Those guys are there to have an experience," Coach Harsin said. "They want to play really good football. They want to be part of something bigger than themselves. They want to graduate. They want to have a chance to build themselves through our program into someone that's going to leave there successful, prepared and ready for all the challenges that they're going to face next. My message to our players is that's the 1 & 0. That's just win today. What do you have to do today? You've got to wake up, you've got to show up, you've got to care, and you've got to repeat."
