RCB Honors 2022-2023 President Chuck Redden
During the June 28th meeting, RCB Past President Brenda Hackney recognized President Chuck Redden for an outstanding year of leadership and service and presented him with the Past President's pin.
Chuck began the club’s 110th year with a renewed emphasis on in-person attendance and connections amongst members. He led meetings in a relaxed business-like manner, with attention to timing and ensuring adequate time for speakers to engage the members. He maintained a strong club and a growing membership. He inspired members to give back to the community through service and support of club initiatives and our club's Foundation. He oversaw the implementation of the club’s strategic plan, continued and enhanced our relationship with Rotaract, and made sure club members enjoyed fantastic social events.
"In honor of your service as president of our club, we are making a donation to the Rotary Club of Birmingham Foundation’s cervical cancer fund," said Brenda. "Now I welcome you into another very special club—the Past President’s club. Thank you, Chuck, for leading us through a fantastic Rotary year."
"It has been a great honor and a tremendous privilege to lead the Rotary Club of Birmingham during our 110th year," Chuck said.
The Rotary Club of Birmingham greatly appreciates Chuck’s leadership and dedication to the Rotary motto of Service Above Self.
