OPERATION WIPE OUT SUMMIT
January 31, 2025
Birmingham, Alabama
Please join us for the second OPERATION WIPE OUT Summit on January 31, 2025, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at The Harbert Center in Birmingham, Alabama, hosted by the Rotary Club of Birmingham and partners.
Cervical cancer is devastating disease that impacts women’s lives, their families, and their communities. But it is a preventable cancer that can be ELIMINATED as a public health threat. Alabama is the first and only state in the U.S. with a comprehensive plan to eliminate cervical cancer. Everyone can play a role by increasing awareness and promoting HPV vaccination, cervical cancer screening, and follow-up.
We welcome Rotarians, public health leaders, health care professionals, non-profit & civic leaders, and advocates to join us. We aim to accelerate the implementation of Alabama's cervical cancer elimination plan by fostering collaboration, innovation, and education. Empowered with knowledge and support, we can work together to achieve the goal of eliminating cervical cancer in Alabama by 2033.
