Rotary Club of Birmingham Members Participate in Service Along Rotary Trail

Rotarians Cal Dodson and Cheryl Morgan clean up Rotary Trail.

Rotary Club of Birmingham members, family and friends spent the afternoon hours of Sunday, November 7 performing service along Rotary Trail. Participants spread 360 bags of mulch around the trail's plant beds and removed litter and debris from the beloved Birmingham landmark.

Rotary Trail is the Rotary Club of Birmingham’s 100th anniversary gift to the Birmingham community. Completed in 2015, the 3.5-million dollar project transformed a vacant railroad right-of-way, or “cut,” into a pleasantly-landscaped, four-block walking/running/biking pathway.
