RCB Honors 2021-22 President Brenda Hackney

During the June 29th meeting, Past President Jon Blankenship recognized 2021-22 RCB President Brenda Hackney for her service and presented her with the Past President's pin.

Jon thanked Brenda for welcoming members and guests with her southern grace and hospitality and encouraging members to return to meeting in person. She maintained a strong Club under the theme of Give, Gather and Grow. She also inspired members to give back to the community through service and support of Club initiatives, oversaw the thoughtful development of a new three-year strategic plan, implementation of a new website, continued investment in connections with Rotaract, strong support for the RCB Foundation, and the return of several social events that were suspended during the pandemic.

The Rotary Club of Birmingham greatly appreciates Brenda’s leadership and dedication to the Rotary motto of Service Above Self.
