Alabama Entrepreneur Marquis Forge Shares the Story of Eleven86 Artesian Water

Rotarian Joe Hampton with Marquis Forge and RCB President Chuck Redden

This week the Rotary Club of Birmingham welcomed Marquis Forge, Founder & CEO
MRaine Industries. He shared his story of returning to his small hometown of Autaugaville, Alabama to launch an artesian water business.

“We're pulling water from several hundred feet underground that hasn't been touched by man in hundreds of years,” said Forge. “It comes directly from an aquifer that's been trapped under the ground for hundreds of millions of years. There’s pressure where the water comes to the surface—60 gallons per minute without any mechanical Power. According to an Alabama geology report, we have a hundred and ten trillion gallons of water beneath our feet at our facility…The aquifer replenishes itself every time it rains and if the well ran 60 gallons a minute 24 hours a day seven days a week 365 days a year, it could run for next 136 years without it raining.
