Red kettle collections

Red kettles become the focus of Birmingham Rotarians’ annual holiday giving each year on behalf of the Salvation Army. Rotarian volunteers ring bells each week to bring attention to the kettles, and Rotary members are encouraged to place donations in the kettles each week. In most years, the Rotary collection in its red kettles over those four weeks totals more than $30,000.
